TPO Waterproofing Membrane (Heat-Welded System)
TPO membrane is a durable, single-ply waterproofing system designed for large and exposed roof areas.
The system uses heat-welded membrane sheets to create a continuous waterproof barrier across the roof surface. In addition, its reflective surface helps reduce heat build-up, making it particularly suitable for Malaysia’s hot, humid and rainy climate.
Because TPO membrane combines waterproofing performance, flexibility and heat-reflective properties, it is commonly used for commercial buildings, industrial facilities and other large roof areas that require long-term outdoor protection.
What is TPO Membrane
TPO, or Thermoplastic Polyolefin, is a flexible roofing membrane that provides waterproofing protection over large exposed surfaces.
Our team installs the membrane sheets across the roof and joins each section using controlled heat. This heat-welding process creates strong, watertight seams between the sheets.
As a result, the completed system forms a continuous waterproofing layer that helps protect the roof from rain, heat and prolonged outdoor exposure.
TPO membrane is especially suitable for large roofs where durability, flexibility and heat resistance are important.

TPO Membrane Application Method

First Layer: Surface Preparation
First, our team inspects the roof surface for dirt, loose material, uneven sections and defects that could affect the membrane installation. We then clean and prepare the surface to create a stable base for the TPO system. -
Second Layer: Installation of TPO Membrane
Next, we position the TPO membrane sheets across the prepared roof according to the roof layout and detailing requirements.
Once the membrane sheets are positioned, we use controlled heat to weld the overlapping edges together. This process forms strong, watertight seams between each sheet and creates a continuous waterproofing barrier across the roof.
